Acton Academy Audition

The Acton admissions process is called an audition. Families who are searching for a profound learning experience, where learners are in charge and have agency over their education, are welcome to audition.

The audition process is designed to make sure that we are the right school to serve your life-long learning needs. The audition is an 8-step process that can often take several months before a final admission decision is made.

We recognize that we ask you to dedicate significant time and thought to the process. However, families who thrive in our community often share that they truly enjoyed the audition process, and we hope you do too.

Elementary Studio Audition: Parents or guardians of learners auditioning for our Elementary Studio (ages 7-10) are asked to initiate the audition process.

Middle Studio Audition: Learners auditioning for our Middle Studio (ages 11-12) are asked to initiate the audition process themselves, as our middle school is a highly collaborative and independent community.

Even if you are not sure about auditioning just yet and have questions about the school, would like to speak with the director, or would like to schedule a tour, we request you to complete the first two steps of the audition so that someone on our team may contact you.
